Forum: election_2004 Subject: About Continually Rising Gas Prices

Over this season of elections it's been repeatedly said one of the primary concerns on voters minds is the continually rising gas prices. Even though both Bush and Kerry seem to be deaf and mute when it comes to the matter of petrol price hikes, it seems to us, it is a problem that could be solved very quick.

We know that America has tons and tons of oil just lying around under Alaska, unused and untapped. It's also general knowledge that President Carter stopped construction of the Alaskan pipeline to please his OPEC masters. Therefore, all we have to do to lower the cost of gasoline is to finish building the Alaskan pipeline.

So, lets put an honest man in the White House who will give the orders to finish the pipeline, which will get our own "American" oil flowing again. Will this not solve the problem, and make petrol at the pumps cheaper?
